The Switchblade Soirée

The idea

An evening clutch designed so the closure itself is the grip. The idea is simple: the thing you already carry to dinner shouldn't be dead weight. Every detail is being explored with one question in mind — would Josephine actually take this out on a Friday night?

Design notes

· Quilted lambskin exterior with a structured silhouette
· Clasp-as-handle concept, currently in design review
· Sized for a phone, cards, keys and gloss — nothing more
· Any bladed design would face strict legal review before it could ever be made, and laws vary widely by state and city

Where it stands

Early concept. Integrated-blade designs are heavily regulated in many places, so this piece may never ship in its current form. We're exploring it openly, with legal review before anything else.
